The County Assessor is responsible for estimating property value for property tax. The County Assessor also assists taxpayers with and accepts applications for property tax exemptions.
The County Assessor will be at the Grove Public Library on March 7th, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to assist taxpayers with filing for homestead exemption, additional homestead exemption, senior valuation freeze, and disabled veterans exemptions. The County Assessor will also be accepting assessments for business owners, farmers, and other personal property owners. The exemption and assessment deadline is March 15th. Please bring your household income information with you when filing for exemptions.
