Adult GED classes are educational programs designed to help adults who did not complete high school earn their General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
In person instruction will be ending for the summer on May 19, however, you can continue to study and do coursework any time at the library, and the instructor will be available for individual testing.
Storytime makes learning fun! Early Literacy Storytime introduces young children to books, rhymes, music, and other literacy-based activities. Storytime is for children ages 0-5 and their grown-ups.
Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance is an evidence-based fall prevention program that was designed to be used in community-based organizations. Accumulating evidence suggests that Tai Chi eight-form exercises are an effective means of improving balance, functional limitations, and muscle strength, which reduce the risk of falling.
Chair Exercise: Grab Your Chair and Get Moving—Light movement to work your core and muscle groups. Chairs are provided. Monday 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm and Tuesday 9:00 am - 9:45 am
SAIL is a fitness program for older adults, which can be done sitting or standing. Performing exercise that improves strength, balance, and fitness is critical for staying active and reducing the risk or falls. The SAIL program was designed with these principals in mind. Each class includes warm-up, stretching, cardio, balance, and strengthening exercises, as well as a cool down period.

Linda Copeland will guide you in painting with acrylics on canvas. All supplies provided at no charge. Space is limited, so registration is required. This class is for ages 18 and above.

Sensory Hour provides a calm, low-stimulation environment for individuals with sensory sensitivities. Lights are dimmed, noise is reduced, and the space is designed for comfort and accessibility.
