A night of winter candy land fun! Join us at the Kansas Public Library for crafts, snacks, activities, gifts, and of course, candy! This will be a three-hour event in which anyone can stop by at anytime.

Join us for a fun and relaxing movie at the library! Enjoy a great film in a cozy setting with friends, family, or fellow movie lovers. Popcorn and good company are guaranteed—just sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!

Join us at the library for a festive Noon Year’s Eve celebration! Enjoy games, snacks, and activities leading up to our countdown and balloon drop at noon. It’s the perfect way to welcome the new year together without staying up late!

Happy Noon Year!!! This family-friendly event will help children ring in the New Year without having to stay up late.  Games, activities, and light refreshments will take place while anxious children await.

Introduce your child to the joys and culture of reading in a fun and positive environment, including books, songs, and activities that are sure to inspire a love of reading. Ages 0-3.

All ages are welcome to a fun, interactive, family literacy program. Build language skills while enjoying stories, songs, and crafts with a new theme each week. 

Pick out your favorite library book or bring your favorite from home and practice reading to Elliot, who is the Youth Volunteer Corps service dog. Elliot is a fantastic listener and loves to listen to readers of all ages!
