Join us for a fun day filled with popcorn and crafts!

Art, friends, and a time to be creative are all a part of this Summer Program to help "Color Our World."  This week's project focuses on Buzzing Buddies.   

Stop at the library between 10:00am and 12:00pm to assemble some easy, DIY craft kits! All ages are welcome while supplies last.

Spend a few hours at the library crocheting a granny square (or two). We will provide plenty of yarn and granny square patterns for your enjoyment! The crochet patterns will range in difficulty, perfect for beginners and intermediates. 

Stop at the library between 11:30am and 1:00pm to assemble some easy, DIY craft kits! All ages are welcome.

This two hour class will be taught by Linda Copeland and Bethia Owens. All materials provided, except for your own personal photos and findings.

Tap into your creative side with this lighthearted watercolor doodle class, perfect for both teens and adults. Each session offers a relaxing blend of simple watercolor techniques with fun and imaginative doodling.

We'll be playing with water at the library! Kiddie pools, water balloons, sponge relays, and more water-based fun and games! 

Join us at the library for a fun, hands-on program just for teens! Learn the basics of screen printing and create your own custom design. Then, use your new skills to make a one-of-a-kind t-shirt to take home.

Learn how to make a rolled flower picture frame using the Cricut. Bring your own frame or shadow box to match your decor or use one of our frames. We will be using hot glue so this program is only for teens and adults.

Color Your World with extraordinary LEGO creations.  Use your imagination or challenge your friends to create a one-of-a-kind design.  

An in person game of dungeons and dragons for teens. Beginners welcome!

Come and enjoy a basket weaving class taught by the mother-and-daughter UKB Tradition Keeper duo, Marcella and Tanisa Foreman. Learn how to start and finish your very own Cherokee basket.

Join Amy in another fun monthly adult craft! This DIY craft will have everything you need to create a lovely wind chime. Call to place a reservation at the Kansas Public Library, 918-221-0410.

Haley Armbrister will be leading a few acrylic workshops for adults this summer! These programs are free to attend, but space is limited, so call us today to RSVP. This is our second class, on Friday July 24th, from 4-6pm.

Adventuring through table top role playing games! Learn teamwork, strategy, and leadership while weaving an intricate and engaging story.

In D&D, each player creates a heroic character to represent them in the game: this might be a skilled fighter, a devout cleric, a deadly rogue, a spellcasting wizard, or something else entirely!

Always wanted to learn how to crochet? Come join us for this 6-week course that meets every Monday from 6:00pm-8:00pm starting June 16, 2025. Registration is required as seats and supplies are limited.
