Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance is an evidence-based fall prevention program that was designed to be used in community-based organizations. Accumulating evidence suggests that Tai Chi eight-form exercises are an effective means of improving balance, functional limitations, and muscle strength, which reduce the risk of falling.
A regular meeting for the practice of Tai Chi requires completion of previous Tai Chi class.

Visit the library for an out-of-this-world experience. Outside we will have viewing equipment designed to look at sun spots, then come inside the library to participate in special solar-inspired activities.
DIY Crafts
Stop at the library between 3:00 and 5:00 pm to assemble some easy, DIY craft kits! All ages are welcome.
Writing Club-Ages 8-15
Spend 8 weeks writing your own book. Each participant will write, edit, and illustrate their book. At the end of the summer, they will be able to share their books at the author meet and greet at the library.
