Event Details
SAIL is a fitness program for older adults, which can be done sitting or standing. Performing exercise that improves strength, balance, and fitness is critical for staying active and reducing the risk or falls. The SAIL program was designed with these principals in mind. Each class includes warm-up, stretching, cardio, balance, and strengthening exercises, as well as a cool down period.
In partnership with the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative, SAIL is an exercise program designed for seniors that can be done seated or standing. This class was made possible through a health literacy grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries and federal funding by the Institute of Museum and Library Services. This class will be held at the Wheeler Event Center, 103 N Wheeler Ave.
